Parameters

The Parameterization feature enables testers to execute the same test case multiple times with different data inputs without creating duplicate test cases. Instead of using hard-coded values, testers can use parameters to make tests more flexible and reusable.

Test data parameterization allows QA teams to store reusable test data in a centralized location, import existing parameters and data sets, and share data across QMetry projects.

By supporting data-driven testing, this feature helps maintain consistency, improves test manageability, and enables teams to create automated tests more efficiently in QMetry Test Management for Jira.

Parameters are created and managed in Configuration, and then applied in the Steps tab of the Test Case section to define data sets.
