Manage QTM4J Project Settings

The Manage QTM4J Project Settings feature allows Jira Administrator to restrict access to QTM4J's Project Settings for all users. The Jira Administrator can decide and configure the Jira Groups whose users can access and configure QTM4J Project Settings from Manage App > QTM4J > Global Settings > General Configuration > Manage QTM4J Project Settings. It minimizes the risk of accidental modifications by other project administrators.

By default, users with both "Administer Project" and "Browse Project" permissions in a Jira project can access and modify the QMetry Project Settings for that project. QTM4J also provides an ability to restrict access to QTM4J Project Settings for all users and solely allow the group(s) of users the privileges to modify QMetry Project Settings. It mitigates the risk of unintended changes by other project administrators.

The configuration for QTM4J Project Settings can be done from Global Settings page.

Steps

1. Go to Administration > Manage apps.
