Folder Order/Sorting
Only the Project Admin can set the Folder Oder/Sorting configuration from QMetry > Configuration > Project Configuration > Folder Order/Sorting.
Automatic Sorting: This is the default configuration. It enables users to sort folders automatically by Name (A-Z/Z-A) or Creation Date (Newest/Oldest) across all modules based on their preference.
Note: When automatic sorting is enabled, manual sequencing of folders within the same hierarchy via drag-and-drop will not be allowed. Only the folders' drag-and-drop (movement) across different hierarchy levels will be supported.
Custom Order: If selected, this option enables users to maintain the custom order using drag-and-drop. Folder sequencing (ordering) is enabled when custom ordering is selected. Using drag-and-drop functionality, users can move folders within the same hierarchy or across different hierarchies. The custom sequence of the folders in the folder hierarchy will be applied consistently for all users within the project.
